NB: Candidates trained at Osler’s are not allowed to take PACES Exam in Hyderabad within a year of their last attendance at Osler’s. Clinical Primer trainees are completely discouraged from attempting PACES at Hyderabad. This is to avoid conflict of interest as Hyderabad PACES Examination is administered by the same team; The Faculty on the course are mostly PACES Examiners of Hyderabad Centre. Candidates RCP numbers are shared with the PACES Central Office. THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE. |
Osler's Academy runs a Clinical Primer Training Program, the country’s first, most successful and affordable program with outstanding faculty.
The duration of the training program is 2 - 3 yrs.
During this training, trainees work in hospitals of their choice or hospitals suggested by us as regular DMO'S. The working hours and salary depend on the local hospital policy. While working, trainees are expected to follow a set curriculum designed by Osler's Academy which tracks the UK Curriculum and is clinically oriented. It helps doctors develop essential clinical skills like communication, physical examination and patient management skills that would orient the doctors for their further career progression in the UK.
During the training period, trainees are expected to give their MRCP Part 1, Part 2 and PACES Exams. Our curriculum also includes an exam-oriented, focused approach, closer to the exam dates. Osler’s also runs a very successful PACES Course which all trainees are allowed to attend depending on their progress and readiness to take the exam.
Every trainee’s hospital and Academy’s class attendance are monitored regularly and feedback sessions are conducted with trainees by the faculty and the directors.
We are pleased to inform you that this is the most successful programme and those who passed out from Osler’s are successfully pursuing further training in the UK. All those who have achieved 90% attendance in hospital and classes have cleared the exams on their first attempt!!
We are also pleased to announce a prestigious partnership with the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh from November 2023.
As a testimony to our commitment to Postgraduate training, the College will place a select number of trainees who have passed MRCP Part1, into hospitals in Scotland or the Northeast of England as a part of the Medical Training Initiative (MTI) Programme. The Medical Training Initiative (MTI) is a UK scheme that allows international medical graduates to work and train within the NHS for a maximum of 24 months i.e. 2 years
Whilst working in the UK, before the end of their two-year job the trainees are expected to complete their Part 2 and PACES and obtain MRCP(UK). They would receive an NHS salary appropriate to their scale during this time.
The collateral benefits for our trainees include guidance and practice with interview techniques and arranging interviews, as we have tie-ups with a few U.K. hospitals to absorb our trainees. University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff is one such Hospital.

Sitting continuously for hours and glancing through never ending pages of books for NEET PG was not my cup of tea. Whereas, in the academy, the first thing that was taught to us was studying while working in hospitals which I feel, is absolutely necessary as a doctor. I must say that I have evolved as a doctor while pursuing my training at Osler’s. To the juniors I say, the Academy brings out the best in us."

Dear teachers and staff at oslers academy,I amvery glad to share with you the happy news of passing MRCP PACES in first attempt. And am equally glad to declare that all the teaching and no teaching staff at OSLERS Academy played a huge role in making that possible. I have previously cleared both the part 1 and part 2 of MRCP in first attempts and have got the slot for PACES this November . To be honest , I was totally confused as to how to prepare for PACES and my Extended preparatory course( sep) has changed my whole preparation towards exam. The structured approach of the course , the volume of patients , commitment and passion of the teachers :- Every aspect is simply exemplary. One would be examining and presenting almost 70 patients covering all the clinical skills to very experienced teachers and this experience is invaluable in exam preparation. I would recommend HCS5 course too which covers most important marks scoring stations of 2, 4 and 5. My special thanks to Dr Mahender, Dr Praveen sangu and all the teachers who taught me. Am also grateful to Ms Rajani and Sunil who has helped me at oslers.
Presently working as a Critical Care Consultant in Apollo, Jubilee Hills.
I am happy to inform that i have passed PACES as i got my result on 7th Dec.I am really thankful to Oslers academy and its teachers for helping me out with the preparation and my special thanks to Mahender Sir for teaching me the approach towards station 3.I will be recommending Oslers to all of my colleagues preparing for PACES.
I thank you very much for this. However, I am still in a state of disbelief. I am not able to come to terms with the fact that I have actually cleared this exam in one go. I am overwhelmed that I met someone like Dr Mahandra Sir and Dr Pravin SIr and all your brilliant staff.I have called up the RCP, London to confirm my result.May I please request you to give me some time to process the fact that I have cleared this exam? I would want to personally come to Osler's Academy and gift each of the professors and the brilliant doctors who taught me. I shall be in touch with you in the coming few days.I do apologize for the inconvenience I am causing you. However, I do hope you understand.
Cleared PACES 2018. I have attended 3 courses for PACES including one at Oslers, the others being in London. I would say Oslers was far, far better than any of the other courses I attended as it is what helped me pass my exam. Dr Vyasabattu is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and the cases seen were very well selected and appropriate for the exam. Cases seen are explained in good detail and discussions are based on DDs which is most useful for the exam. There is a mock exam at the end of the course which helped. I thank Oslers for my success at the exam.
Working in a General Medical ward with exposure to Cardiorespiratory and Abdomen cases.
I attended PACES training at Osler’s Academy and without hesitation, I can say that ‘what I am now is because of Osler’s Academy’. The teaching was extremely incredible and stands above any other courses which I attended across the globe. The teaching was far superior, patient bank was beyond the regular numbers and quality.I have not just passed MRCP, but have trained enough to be a better clinician and more importantly a trainer as well. The course was not just to pass PACES, but took me beyond to aspire for better career pathways, made me a motivated teacher and a good learner. I thoroughly recommend this course for everybody aspiring to take on PACES.
Oslers Training simulates as per the saying goes - “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” Their Training is not something for us to pass the system for Qualification but it is all about for us also to sustain the system with that Qualification.
Oslers Faculty and Training is the best. Faculty help each of us to cultivate a lifelong desire to learn and build the skills such that we find our own answers out in the world and become independent practitioners.
The level of significance the Osler’s brought through their excellence in turning our careers to that extent of success is overwhelming. Great honour to be a trainee of this academy.
Went to Osler's Academy for guidance as I was not getting Medical P.G seat. On the advice of the academy I did the clinical primer programme and successfully passed my MRCP after that I started my career at UHW, Cardiff. I give all the credit to the academy in guiding me and helping me at every step. Osler’s First batch Clinical primer student who excelled at PACES scoring 164/172.
I want to express many thanks and gratefulness to all doctors and administrative staff in Osler Academy who taught me and guide me how to prepare for successful PACES. I was passed with first trial with such high score (164/172).I have been contacted from my collegues from Kurdistan-Iraq, told them choose Osler Academy it is the best.
It is with humble gratitude that I wish to inform you that I have passed the MRCP PACES examination conducted on October 18, 2018, held in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, scoring 152/172 A diamond, no matter the size requires careful polishing and finer refining, to enable value realization and make it worthwhile. The more the perfection imparted to this process more the value enhancement.Similarly, all the GURUS, and YOU specially, at Oslers Academy perform this task to the highest level of professionalism and commitment, inspite of busy schedules, imparting knowledge gained from immense experiences raising the performance levels of the Medicos attending the PACES Course and enabling students like me to approach the PACES exams with confidence.I only wish that I had known of such an illuminating course earlier so that I could have taken advantage of the teachings of the experts in this field. The success of any project lies not only in the hands of the main players but also in the efforts of the support staff and I can vouch for the sincerity and dedication shown by all the members of your Academy. I once again thank all the Faculty and Staff at Oslers Academy for helping me attain new heights in my academics and I must admit that, even though my experience is only a day old - I got my results only yesterday - the air at this exalted level is what I have been striving to breathe all these years. THANK YOU FOR MAKING MY DREAM COME TRUE.

Osler’s Academy did a tremendous work in providing a right platform for my son who wanted to pursue his medical career abroad. Osler’s helped him in guiding through their well-structured curriculum and also guided him throughout all stages of exams Part1, 2 & PACES. Osler’s Academy conducted many bedside teaching sessions and facilitated on the job training whilst my son was working in Hospital. The training provided during the PACES Course is worth appreciating. They regularly monitor the students in completing their tasks with tight follow ups. Special thanks goes to Dr. Mahender. It is with great pride we can say that our son, Dr. Rishab Avasarala, had completed MRCP in the first attempt and also passed the PACES exam in one go. We are extremely thankful to Dr Mahender Vyasabattu. He has been a source of constant support and inspiration to us. We were initially very sceptical about this parallel course to the Indian Postgraduate training programme. Students in Osler are well taken care of, not only in academics but also in the overall personality development. They are always encouraging in bringing out the best in the student. We are very happy and proud that Rishab has completed the course which is recognized all over the world, including India. With the constant encouragement and support and training imparted by all the faculty of Oslers Academy, he was able to achieve a place at the prestigious University of Wales Hospital, Cardiff, UK. We are indeed grateful to the academy. We sincerely wish the Osler’s Academy many more laurels and help more students in India to fulfil their dreams of pursuing advanced training abroad.

While searching for the pathways to entry into the UK, we came across the MRCP pathway and found that Osler’s Academy was one of the institutes offering guidance and coaching which I thought would be useful for my son. The training and guidance offered by Dr Mahender and other faculty at Osler’s were instrumental in shaping my sons career. The MRCP pathway seems to be a good option for entry into the UK, but it is mostly the students/individuals goal which would help decide the path to be taken.
Dr Sashank Chavali (Cleared PACES)
I came to know about Osler’s Academy from my friend Dr Peddu Praveen. Definitely finding Osler’s was like spotting an oasis in a desert. The Academy showed the right path. I would definitely recommend the Academy to other parents seeking proper guidance and career progression for their children.

We came to know about Osler's Academy when I met Dr Mahender in 2015. I was very much impressed with his enthusiasm and commitment to provide higher education in medicine. When I wanted to enroll my son Dr Nitish and my daughter in law Dr Shilpa, Osler's Academy was my choice. Pleased to note that the concerned faculty in the Academy were very good and motivating. They take a keen interest in the student's progress academically. I strongly feel that parents who would like their children to pursue higher education in medicine should consider Osler's Academy as a good option. I, as a parent very happy that I have enrolled my son and daughter in law in the Academy.

After a lot of research by my son and going through review and comparing with other institutes and courses it was a decision to join Osler’s Academy. MRCP internal medicine has worldwide recognition. A very thorough and deep insight and understanding of the various ailments assessment and management are learned in this course. Providing doctors a gateway for pursuing their passion further in their chosen field is a boon. Extremely happy to say the staff and the faculty have been very helpful in training, teaching and helping beyond their assigned role.
