WHY WORK IN THE UK?
Medical colleges can now appoint private doctors, including overseas citizens, on a part-time basis to teach MBBS and post-graduate students, according to a government notification. The new regulations do not apply to all AIIMS institutions, PGI Chandigarh and JIPMER in Puducherry established under stand-alone Acts of Parliament, a senior health ministry official said. The decision by the Board of Governors (BoG), which is vested with powers of the medical education regulator Medical Council of India (MCI), is aimed at addressing the shortage of teachers in private and government colleges. The old regulation did not allow private practitioners to teach in medical colleges.

1] What is MRCP Clinical Primer course structure? Osler's Academy's Clinical Primer training structure closely tracks Internal Medicine Training of the UK. Only those that are doing clinical work in hospitals are allowed to join the program. The trainees get to work in our partnering hospitals or hospitals of their choice whilst undergoing training at the academy. Our curriculum is designed with the aim to develop the knowledge and skills needed to be a successful physician. The Program is not for passing the MRCP, but to get proper training and competencies equivalent to the level of Internal Medicine Training in the U.K.
