WELCOME TO MRCS-UK PATHWAY

This is a two year training program that aligns with the Core Surgical training of the United Kingdom. It is mandatory for the trainees to work in surgical departments in suitable hospitals. Our focus is on training not coaching for exams. At Osler’s passing the exam is a collateral benefit ! Most of the teaching is 'hands on' with trainees being tutored from a very basic level such as history taking, physical examination and case sheet writing.

The surgery program, however, doesn't offer full hands-on surgical training & hence it should be considered as just a stepping stone for further training in the U.K.
